Zombie Bride

2013 · 1h 14m · Horror

Skip it. The premise of a conscious zombie office worker has potential for dark comedy or genuine horror, but this obscure Japanese film lacks the cultural footprint, cast recognition, or directorial pedigree to suggest it nails either tone—it's more likely to be a forgettable B-movie that wastes its central concept.

Plot

Office worker, Airi Shimazawa, was murdered by her adulterous lover, yet she woke up in the morning to find herself turned into a zombie. Although she was a zombie, she was conscious and could talk.

Director: Daisuke Yamanouchi

Cast: Rei Mizuna, Yoko Satomi, Riri Kouda, Taishi Takemoto, Seiji Nakamitsu
