Skip it tonight—this feels like a generic direct-to-video X-Men cash-grab with a plot we've seen a hundred times (mysterious past! forced alliance with Magneto! world-ending stakes!). The lack of any critical scores and forgettable title are red flags that this animated entry isn't worth your time when better superhero options are out there.
