Skip it. This is the fourth installment in a franchise known more for B-movie gore than genuine scares, and a prequel set in a sanatorium doesn't suddenly elevate the formula—it just recycles the same isolated-group-vs-cannibals plot you've seen three times already. Unless you're a completist horror fan who lives for cheap kills and predictable jump scares, your night is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

A group of friends take refuge in a deserted sanatorium after they are left stranded in a snowstorm. Later, the place becomes a death trap when man-eating cannibals surround them.
