If you're in the mood for a thoughtful, character-driven dramedy about family baggage and sisterhood, this German indie gem delivers genuine emotional stakes wrapped in dark humor. The premise of two sisters wrestling with their mother's ghost through a simple unopened bottle is refreshingly intimate—skip this only if you need explosions and plot twists.

Plot

Sisters Esther and Christina meet on the fourth anniversary of their mother's death. The problem: neither of them dares to open the bottle of champagne. They are thus forced to renegotiate their mother's expectations and their sisterly relationship. An attempt at reconciliation.
