Watch this tonight. Waltz with Bashir is a haunting animated documentary that uses rotoscope animation to probe memory, trauma, and complicity in ways live-action can't touch—it's intellectually rigorous, visually striking, and devastatingly human. If you want something that challenges you instead of just entertaining you, this is essential.

Plot

An Israeli film director interviews fellow veterans of the 1982 invasion of Lebanon to reconstruct his own memories of his term of service in that conflict.
