This 1995 sci-fi horror remake has genuinely creepy premise and solid execution with those unsettling glowing-eyed kids, but it never quite reaches the chilling heights of the original 1960 film. Watch it if you're in the mood for understated alien dread over jump scares, otherwise there are better creature features waiting.

Plot

An American village is visited by some unknown life form which leaves the women of the village pregnant. Nine months later, the babies are born, and they all look normal, but it doesn't take the "parents" long to realize that the kids are not human or humane.
