Skip it. Van Helsing is a bloated CGI mess that mistakes hyperactive action sequences for entertainment—it's the kind of movie that throws everything at the wall (Dracula! Frankenstein! Werewolves!) without giving you a reason to care about any of it. Unless you're in the mood for campy early-2000s excess with zero narrative restraint, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

Famed monster slayer Gabriel Van Helsing is dispatched to Transylvania to assist the last of the Valerious bloodline in defeating Count Dracula. Anna Valerious reveals that Dracula has formed an unholy alliance with Dr. Frankenstein's monster and is hell-bent on exacting a centuries-old curse on her family.
