Skip it. 'Unthinkable' is a muddled torture-thriller that mistakes brutality for depth and never justifies its grim premise with genuine thrills or moral complexity. Even with Samuel L. Jackson in the lead, this one's a slog through familiar interrogation-room drama without the intelligence to make it matter.

Plot

The government gets wind of a plot to destroy America involving a trio of nuclear weapons for which the whereabouts are unknown. It's up to a seasoned interrogator and an FBI agent to find out exactly where the nukes are.
