Skip it unless you're a hardcore Van Damme completist or a direct-to-video action junkie. This is Jean-Claude Van Damme phoning it in for a sequel nobody asked for, with a plot that screams 'mid-2000s straight-to-DVD cash grab' and none of the camp charm that made the original work.

Rearmed and reprogrammed, Deveraux must take on his nemesis from the original Universal Soldier and a next-generation "UniSol" that seems almost unstoppable.
