Plot

After the devastating loss of their infant daughter, Maria and Avery Brooks struggle to survive the quiet devastation that grief leaves behind. Once vibrant and full of life, Maria retreats into silence, while Avery-desperate to fix what feels irreparably broken-searches for any solution that might restore the woman he loves. As outside help enters their home, fragile emotions begin to shift in unexpected ways. What starts as an attempt to heal slowly exposes buried loneliness, unmet needs, and dangerous vulnerabilities. Love becomes complicated.
