Skip it. 'The Wretched' is a forgettable mid-tier horror flick that squanders a solid premise with clumsy execution and a teen angst subplot that feels tacked on—you'll find way better creature horror elsewhere, and the witch-possession angle won't stick with you past tonight.

A rebellious teenage boy, struggling with his parents' imminent divorce, encounters a terrifying evil after his next-door neighbor becomes possessed by an ancient witch that feasts on children.
