Skip it unless you're a completist for hard-boiled crime thrillers—this Christopher McQuarrie directorial debut is technically proficient but emotionally cold, and the premise of two irredeemable criminals kidnapping a surrogate mother goes nowhere particularly interesting or thrilling.
