The Shrine

2010 · 1h 25m · Horror

IMDb 5.5 RT 83%

The Shrine has critics on board (83% RT), but audiences aren't buying it (5.5 IMDb), which suggests it's a decent atmospheric horror flick that doesn't quite stick the landing. Skip it unless you're a found-footage cult horror completist—better options are out there.

Plot

A group of young journalists investigate a cult said to practice human sacrifice, but their ambitious ways may lead them to becoming the cult's next victims.
