Skip it unless you're a dedicated horror completist—The Ritual has solid creature design and atmosphere, but relies too heavily on jump scares and tired 'friends bicker in the woods' tropes that undercut any genuine dread. You'll find better supernatural horror elsewhere.

Plot

A group of college friends reunite for a trip to the forest, but encounter a menacing presence in the woods that's stalking them.
