Skip it. 'The November Man' is a by-the-numbers spy thriller that checks all the expected boxes without adding anything fresh—it's basically a tired retread of mentor-vs-protégé fare with Pierce Brosnan coasting on his Bond legacy. You've seen this geopolitical cat-and-mouse game done better in a dozen other thrillers, so unless you're desperate for background noise, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

An ex-CIA operative is brought back in on a very personal mission and finds himself pitted against his former pupil in a deadly game involving high level CIA officials and the Russian president-elect.
