Skip it. 'The New Guy' is a painfully dated '90s comedy that somehow managed to bomb with critics and audiences alike—and those scores aren't lying. Unless you're specifically hunting for nostalgia-cringe or have a weird fascination with failed early-2000s high school comedies, your time is better spent literally anywhere else.

Plot

Nerdy high school senior Dizzy Harrison has finally gotten lucky -- after purposely getting expelled, he takes lessons in 'badass cool' from a convict and enrolls at a new school. But can he keep up the ruse?
