The Morrigan

2026 · 1h 36m · Horror

Skip it. 'The Morrigan' sounds like a generic supernatural horror flick that hits every predictable beat—cursed artifact, protective parent, ancient evil—without adding anything fresh to the genre. Without critical validation or a recognizable cast to lean on, this is a hard pass for tonight.

Plot

Archaeologist Fiona travels to Ireland to uncover a long-dead tomb. A threat is released and she will have to fight to keep her teenage daughter from falling under the control of The Morrigan, a vengeful Pagan War Goddess.

Director: Colum Eastwood

Cast: Saffron Burrows, James Cosmo, Emily Flain, Art Parkinson, Jonathan Forbes
