Skip it. Frank Darabont's earnest nostalgia trip stars Jim Carrey in a dramatic role that doesn't justify its bloated two-hour runtime, and the premise—amnesia as a plot device—is melodramatic schmaltz that hasn't aged well. Unless you're a die-hard Carrey fan, there are better ways to spend your evening.

Set in 1951, a blacklisted Hollywood writer gets into a car accident, loses his memory and settles down in a small town where he is mistaken for a long-lost son.
