Skip this one unless you're a Lars von Trier completist who can handle 150 minutes of graphic violence wrapped in pseudo-intellectual commentary about art and murder. The premise of a killer-as-artist feels more self-indulgent than provocative, and the film's shocking moments seem designed to test your patience rather than challenge your thinking.
Plot
Failed architect, engineer and vicious murderer Jack narrates the details of some of his most elaborately orchestrated crimes, each of them a towering piece of art that defines his life's work as a serial killer for twelve years.
