Skip it. 'The Hot Spot' is a forgettable '90s crime-thriller that mistakes sleaze for intrigue—it's got the ingredients for a decent pulp flick but squanders them on a muddled plot and derivative love-triangle nonsense. Unless you're completionist about '90s thrillers or have a specific actor you're chasing, your time is better spent elsewhere.
Plot
Upon arriving to a small town, a drifter quickly gets into trouble with the local authorities — and the local women — after he robs a bank.
