Skip it—this 1989 sequel trades the original's claustrophobic body horror for bloated sci-fi melodrama, and watching a mutant man-fly child angst his way through a corporate facility sounds like a slog, not a thrill. Unless you're a completist horror fan with nothing better to do, you're better off rewatching Cronenberg's masterpiece instead.

Plot

Martin Brundle, born of the human/fly, is adopted by his father's place of employment (Bartok Inc.) while the employees simply wait for his mutant chromosomes to come out of their dormant state.
