A fun premise with decent execution, but the middling scores tell the real story—this is a solid B-movie that doesn't quite nail its concept. Watch it if you're a sci-fi completist or a sucker for '80s action cheese, otherwise there are better ways to spend your evening.

Plot

During routine manoeuvres near Hawaii in 1980, the aircraft-carrier USS Nimitz is caught in a strange vortex-like storm, throwing the ship back in time to 1941—mere hours before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
