The End We Start From
2023 · 1h 42m · Drama, Mystery, Thriller
Skip it tonight unless you're in the mood for bleak climate anxiety mixed with maternal struggle—this is a harrowing, deliberately slow-burn journey that demands emotional investment rather than entertainment. If you want catharsis or escapism, look elsewhere; if you crave raw, unsettling character drama, it might grip you, but it's a heavy lift for a casual evening.
Plot
As London is submerged below floodwaters, a woman gives birth to her first child. Days later, she and her baby are forced to leave their home in search of safety. They head north through a newly dangerous country seeking refuge from place to place.
