The Disappearance of Josef Mengele
2025 · 2h 15m · History, Drama
Skip this one—while the premise has historical weight, the film struggles to find a compelling narrative angle and relies too heavily on a murky moral framework that doesn't quite justify its runtime. Without critical validation or a standout cast to anchor the material, you're better off rewatching a proven Holocaust drama that actually earns its emotional stakes.

In the aftermath of the Second World War, Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor at Auschwitz, escapes to South America to rebuild his life in hiding. Through the eyes of his son who finds him again, Mengele is confronted with a past he can no longer ignore.
