Skip it. This is a by-the-numbers family horror-comedy that mistakes a father-daughter bonding subplot for actual plot, and the premise of killer Halloween decorations is far too thin to sustain 90 minutes. Even if you're looking for something spooky but safe for tonight, you'll find better options that don't feel this much like an obligation.

Plot

A Halloween-hating dad reluctantly teams up with his teenage daughter when an evil spirit wreaks havoc by making their town's decorations come to life.
