Skip it tonight—this 1997 corruption thriller with Mark Wahlberg and Chow Yun-fat has a solid premise about moral compromise in the NYPD, but it's been thoroughly overshadowed by better cop dramas and hasn't aged particularly well. Unless you're specifically hunting for late-90s action nostalgia, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

Danny is a young cop partnered with Nick, a seasoned but ethically tainted veteran. As the two try to stop a gang war in Chinatown, Danny relies on Nick but grows increasingly uncomfortable with the way Nick gets things done.
