Watch it tonight if you're in the mood for a sharp, emotionally brutal drama with real stakes—the strong RT and IMDb scores prove this 1961 classic still lands hard. The mixed Metacritic is a red flag, but the film's unflinching exploration of reputation, prejudice, and accusation outweighs the critical noise.
Plot
An unruly student at a private all-girls boarding school scandalously accuses the two women who run it of having a romantic relationship.
