Skip it tonight—this 1994 Hong Kong action thriller has a compelling setup but feels like a standard-issue genre exercise that doesn't justify the watch over fresher options in your queue. Without critic support and a plot that blends familiar tropes (witness protection, corrupt businessman, cross-border intrigue), you're better off finding something with more distinct personality.

Plot

A corrupt businessman commits a murder and the only witness is the girlfriend of another businessman with close connections to the Chinese government, so a bodyguard from Beijing is dispatched to help two Hong Kong cops protect the witness.
