Skip it unless you're a horror completist or want to understand found-footage cinema's origin story. Blair Witch is historically significant but hasn't aged well—the shaky cam is exhausting, and the scares rely on atmosphere rather than actual scares. Watch it on a rainy afternoon when you're feeling patient, not tonight when you want something that actually delivers.

Plot

In October of 1994 three student filmmakers disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland, while shooting a documentary. A year later their footage was found.
