Skip it tonight—this Crichton adaptation is a messy, bloated swing at epic adventure that never quite lands, despite a genuinely interesting premise about unlikely allies. You'll find better ways to spend two hours than watching Vikings fight CGI monsters with clunky dialogue and murky action sequences.

Plot

A Muslim ambassador exiled from his homeland joins a group of Vikings, initially offended by their behavior but growing to respect them. As they travel together, they learn of a legendary evil closing in and must unite to confront this formidable force.
