Skip it. Suburbicon is a tonal mess that can't decide if it's a dark comedy or a serious crime thriller, and it wastes a solid premise about 1950s suburban hypocrisy with unfocused storytelling and muddled execution. George Clooney's direction is clumsy, and even Matt Damon and Julianne Moore can't save this one from feeling like a half-baked idea.

Plot

In the quiet family town of Suburbicon during the 1950s, the best and worst of humanity is hilariously reflected through the deeds of seemingly ordinary people. When a home invasion turns deadly, a picture-perfect family turns to blackmail, revenge and murder.
