Skip it. While the Saturday Night Fever sequel has its disco charm and John Travolta's commitment to the role, 'Staying Alive' is widely regarded as a significant step down from the original—heavy-handed, musically overwrought, and dramatically hollow. Unless you're a completist or pure '80s nostalgia junkie, your night is better spent elsewhere.
Plot
