Snow Bear

2024 · 0h 11m · Animation, Family

Skip it—while the solo passion project premise is admirable, a no-name animated film with zero critical buzz and a thin plot about a lonely bear making a friend reads more like a sincere but meandering indie passion project than a polished evening watch. Unless you're specifically hunting for obscure animated gems, your time is better spent on proven family films.

Plot

When a lonely polar bear can't find a friend... he makes one. Set in a rapidly changing world, "Snow Bear" tells the story of a polar bear in an unforgiving environment on his quest to find a friend. This independently produced 2D hand drawn film was painstakingly created entirely by Aaron Blaise over 3 years.
