Skip it. 'Snorp: My Alien Friend' hits all the predictable family comedy beats—awkward alien, plucky kid, scheming villain—without any indication it brings fresh energy or genuine laughs to the formula. Unless you're desperately mining for something to keep young kids occupied for 90 minutes, you've seen this story before and done better.

Plot

After suffering a shipwreck during a meteor shower, the clumsy and comical alien Snorp finds himself in a predicament. His home planet is five light-years away from Earth, and waiting for help could take an eternity. Along with that, a greedy swindler is intent on stealing his advanced technology. Only curious boy Nikita and his family can save the stranded and help him return home.
