Skip it. 'Slanted' sounds like it's swinging for satirical gold but lands somewhere between preachy and tasteless—the premise of mocking both beauty standards and assimilation anxiety could work as dark comedy, but there's no evidence here that it executes with the wit or insight needed to justify its uncomfortable premise.
