Skip it unless you're a Stephen King completist or '80s horror devotee—Silver Bullet is a fun but clunky werewolf romp that doesn't bite hard enough to justify your time tonight. The premise is solid and Gary Busey chews scenery like he's possessed, but it's more campy curiosity than genuinely scary or thrilling.

Plot

The small city of Tarker's Mills is startled by a series of sadistic murders. The population fears the work of a maniac, but sightings of a mysterious, hairy creature soon spread. People lock themselves up at night, but there's one boy who's still outside…
