Skip it. 'Showtime' is a dated buddy cop spoof that tries to coast on Eddie Murphy and Robert De Niro's chemistry, but lands somewhere between forgettable and forced. The reality TV angle feels stale now, and the film hasn't aged well enough to warrant a rewatch.
