Skip it. 'Show Dogs' is a paint-by-numbers family comedy that mistakes fish-out-of-water premise for actual humor—a macho dog in a dog show sounds cute in theory, but the execution is forgettable filler that'll bore both kids and parents.

Plot

Max, a macho, solitary Rottweiler police dog is ordered to go undercover as a primped show dog in a prestigious Dog Show, along with his human partner, to avert a disaster from happening.
