Shocker

1989 · 1h 51m · Horror, Thriller

Skip it. 'Shocker' is a 1989 Wes Craven curiosity that hasn't aged well—the premise of an electrocuted serial killer becoming a supernatural energy being sounds wild on paper, but the execution is campy and forgettable, even by horror standards of that era. There are far better ways to spend your night.

Plot

About to be electrocuted for a catalog of heinous crimes, the unrepentant Horace Pinker transforms into a terrifying energy source. Only young athlete Jonathan Parker, with an uncanny connection to him through bizarre dreams, can fight the powerful demon.

Director: Wes Craven

Cast: Michael Murphy, Mitch Pileggi, Peter Berg, Camille Cooper, Sam Scarber
