Semua Salahku

2018

This sounds like a heavy family drama exploring motherhood, sacrifice, and regret—potentially moving if executed well—but the plot veers into soap opera territory with the accident, financial ruin, and spa-hopping subplot. Without any scores or cast reputation to vouch for its quality, and given the melodramatic premise, **SKIP it tonight** unless you're specifically craving a tearjerker about parental negligence.

Plot

The story follows Sofea, a daughter who is disobedient to her mother and neglects her responsibilities as a mother to her son, Haris. When Haris was young, his father passed away without leaving any inheritance, burdening his mother, Sofea, forcing her to work hard to earn income. To increase her income, Fatimah, Sofea's mother, suggests that Sofea take makeup classes. Sofea begins working in the makeup field and has somewhat helped increase Sofea's income. Unfortunately, Sofea's love and care for Haris begin to be neglected when she marries Iqbal. However, the marriage does not last long when Iqbal is involved in an accident, causing Sofea to lose her savings. Stressed by the loss of money, Sofea reduces Haris's allowance and household expenses. Sofea does not want to continue living in hardship and spends her money going to spas to maintain her appearance in order to find a rich man.
