Run to Ground
2011 · 1h 47m · Drama, Thriller
Skip it. 'Run to Ground' sounds like it's aiming for gritty Eastern European noir, but the plot description reads like a checklist of dark thriller tropes—missing kid, stalker, murdered child—without any hint of what makes it distinct or necessary to watch. Without critical validation or a known director/cast pulling you in, this feels like a heavy-handed downer with nothing particularly fresh to offer.
Plot
Some wounds never heal. In a rundown Central European town, the everyday lives of three working people are violently disrupted: a boy goes missing, a woman is stalked, and a man comes face to face with the killer of his child.
