Skip it. 'Romeo Must Die' is a 2000 Jet Li vehicle that tries to be a stylish action-thriller but mostly delivers cheesy gang warfare clichés and wooden chemistry between its leads. Unless you're a completist for early-2000s action flicks or Jet Li's filmography, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

Two warring gang families (one African-American, the other Chinese) maneuver for bragging rights to the Oakland, California docks. Hang Sing and Trish O'Day uncover a trail of deceit that leaves most of the warring factions dead... or worse!
