Skip it. R.I.P.D. is a soulless supernatural buddy cop movie that wastes a solid premise and game cast (Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges) on lazy writing and effects that look dated even for 2013. You've seen this joke before, and it wasn't funny the first time.
