This 1991 Denzel Washington thriller has a solid premise—a cop-turned-lawyer haunted by a criminal he put away—but it squanders the concept with over-the-top villainy and dated action beats that haven't aged well. There are better thrillers in this mold that'll grip you way harder tonight.
