Skip it. This 1984 Sylvester Stallone vehicle is widely considered one of the most painfully unfunny comedies ever made—a slog that mistakes earnestness for charm and features cringe-inducing musical numbers that'll make you squirm. Unless you're specifically hunting for 'so bad it's good' fodder, your time is better spent literally anywhere else.

Plot

After a big-time country singer brags that she can turn anybody in to a country-singin' star, she's out to prove she can live up to her talk when she recruits a cab-driver as a country singer. He's scheduled to sing at a big-time NYC country night club and she puts her ample powers to work in preparing her protege.
