Skip it. While the premise of healing through friendship has merit, this 2007 drama leans too heavily on its 9/11 tragedy angle without earning the emotional weight—and Adam Sandler's dramatic turn, though well-intentioned, doesn't land convincingly enough to justify the heavy subject matter.
Plot
A man who lost his family in the September 11 attack on New York City runs into his old college roommate. Rekindling the friendship is the one thing that appears able to help the man recover from his grief.
