Skip it—'Rebel Act' sounds like a sweet indie comedy with a charming premise about an elderly woman's nursing home escape, but without any critical backing or recognizable names to vouch for it, there's too much risk it'll feel like a stage play that forgot to become a movie. Save your night for something with proven entertainment value.

Plot

On a stage, a story is being told, Deolinda discovers that she's going to have to stay at the nursing home for the weekend. Revolted, she has the idea of running away at night, but a few obstacles stand in her way. A journey where past and present come together.
