Skip it. The premise of a bored kid idolizing a town loser sounds like indie film territory that's been done to death, and without any critical backing or recognizable names to lean on, this feels like a well-meaning but forgettable coming-of-age flick that won't justify your evening.

Plot

A little kid stranded, growing up in a country town he hates. The locals reckon it's a paradise, but as far as he can see, the only interesting stuff happens to a guy the whole town dismisses as a loser... Ray.
