Pyewacket

2017 · 1h 28m · Horror, Thriller

Skip it—this indie occult thriller relies too heavily on familiar teenage-angst-goes-supernatural tropes without adding anything fresh to the formula. Unless you're hunting for obscure horror deep cuts, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

A frustrated, angry teenage girl awakens something in the woods when she naively performs an occult ritual to invoke a witch to kill her mother.

Director: Adam MacDonald

Cast: Laurie Holden, Nicole Muñoz, Chloe Rose, Eric Osborne, James McGowan
