Skip it. This remake haunts nobody but itself—a sloppy, poorly executed cash-grab that wastes a decent premise and a capable cast on jump scares and CGI spectacle. With scores this dismal across the board, your time is better spent rewatching the 1982 original or literally any other horror film made in the last five years.

Plot

A family's suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
